Circle AI
How It Works
Circle AI is built on a simple rule: it helps your team notice what matters, and people make the decisions. Ministry takes wisdom and context that no model has, so Circle AI is designed to assist your team, not replace it. It's the intelligence layer built into the Circle platform, and its purpose is simple: help your team focus on people instead of paperwork.
Because every part of Circle shares the same data, Circle AI can spot things that separate systems would miss. Whenever data changes, it processes the information, maps relationships, and looks for patterns that may need attention, like someone who needs follow-up, a change in engagement, or a relevant next step. Suggestions appear naturally throughout the platform: on the dashboard, inside a person's profile, or within a user's feed. It's still in development, and early results are encouraging.
How Circle AI Works
Data Recognition
Circle AI continuously monitors data changes and processes information to map relationships and identify patterns that may require attention.
Pattern Analysis
The system identifies follow-up opportunities, engagement changes, and suggests relevant next steps that appear naturally throughout the platform.
Smart Routing
Each suggestion is routed to the appropriate person or department based on ministry involvement and activity. Users can approve or dismiss suggestions as needed.
Circle AI does not act on its own. It exists to assist, inform, and guide decisions made by people. Behind the scenes, it works alongside the Circle Automation Engine: the AI highlights what matters most, while the automation system carries out approved actions. That keeps ministry workflows efficient while every step stays under your team's control.
In addition to providing insights, Circle AI can also help create content. It can assist with drafting emails, messages, and other written materials across the platform. By understanding the context of the communication, it helps staff and volunteers communicate clearly, consistently, and in a tone that fits the church's voice.
An administrative area is in active development that will allow leaders to adjust how Circle AI operates. Administrators will be able to refine review settings, define department responsibilities, and manage how often the system processes data. Because Circle AI is still evolving, all functionality should be viewed as provisional. We are continuing to refine, test, and learn from real churches to ensure that Circle AI becomes a trustworthy and valuable tool for ministry.
